  1. This comic is my worst nightmare come to life! My heart would always drop to my stomach the moment I would hear those words come out of any teacher or instructor’s mouth. The last time this happened, I was at a meditation class and wanted to get up and run out. The only reason I stayed is because I had come there with other social anxiety sufferers and I felt that, at least for them, I didn’t sound weird if I only said something brief to introduce myself.

      1. I feel like such a fraud when it’s my turn to speak, ugh. I even go as far as to plant a smile on my face and pretend not to be nervous, though I don’t know if I come across as convincing.
